Four Victorian schools are set to receive a $2.1 million major science infrastructure boost with the installation of five specialist science labs across the State. This $2.1 million specialist science infrastructure is funded by the Victorian Coalition Government.

I’m pleased to report that Waverley students will share in this infrastructure boost with Brentwood Secondary College to receive two of these five specialist science labs.

The new science facilities include;

  • specially fitted out science learning spaces
  • separate preparation and storage rooms
  • covered breakout decking areas

These new facilities will ensure that Brentwood Secondary College staff and students have better facilities to learn and teach the crucial role of science.

Having recently had the opportunity to visit and meet with Brentwood Secondary College School Council, I know the upgraded science infrastructure will be warmly welcomed. I acknowledge the tremendous work of the school community in supporting the education outcomes and facilities it’s so well known for.

This $2.1 million investment complements the record education infrastructure investment occurring in Waverley Schools including the rebuilding of Essex Heights Primary, Pinewood Primary, Mt Waverley Secondary and the refurbishment of Mt Waverley North Primary.
