Mount Waverley Cricket Club (MTWCC) went Hot Pink in support of the McGrath Foundation’s Pink Stumps Day. To raise additional funds for the charity, the Club held a Sparkling Afternoon Tea which proved to be a huge success.

Entry to the Sparking Afternoon Tea came at a price of $10 per person, half of which was donated to the McGrath Foundation. The Club also donated every dollar from the sales of Sparkling Wine for the day as wellas $1 from every other bar sale.

Members were encouraged to bring their families & friends to support the cause, while watching the Senior Team take on their local rivals, Oakleigh Cricket Club.

On the day the Club managed to raise $820. If you missed out on attending, you can make a direct donation through this website: www.gofundraise.com.au/page/BradSheehan

Every dollar makes a difference and your donation will help the McGrath Foundation to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities’ right across Australia, as well as to increase breast awareness in young Australian women. To date we have placed 68 Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who together have helped support over 10,000 families.

100% of all donations will be donated to the McGrathFoundation and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible via email.

Congratulations again to Brad, Anthony and the Club on the event. It was great to be able to enjoy a competitive match of circket whilst also supporting a worthy cause.
