Residents are now able to use the sporting facilities at Brandon Park Reserve during the day and the night, with the completion of the Reserve’s lighting upgrade.

The lighting upgrade allows for Waverley Victory Football Club, local cricket clubs and residents to use the ovals around the clock. The lighting will also ensure use is spread across the ovals, keeping the grounds in better condition throughout the year.

The project is a joint project between the Victorian Government, Monash City Council and Waverley Victory FC. The Victorian Government provided $70,000 in funding from our Community Facility Funding Program (CFFP). Funds were also contributed by Council and the Club itself.

Fundraising is never easy and I congratulate Waverley Victory FC on supporting and contributing to this project.
