Pinewood Primary School will receive $4.5 million from the Victorian Coalition Government to undertake vital infrastructure works.
The funding will allow for the construction of two new buildings; accommodating 10 classrooms, incorporating an art room and a library, administration offices and a netball court.
The funding was recently announced at Pinewood Primary School during a visit to the school by Premier Denis Napthine. It was a wonderful opportunity to tour the school with the Premier and discuss the capital works in greater detail with the school community.
As part of a commitment to improving school infrastructure and learning environments in Victorian schools, $611 million in funding has been provided by the Victorian Coalition Government since November 2010.
